Who said she could turn ONE?

I'm not sure who gave her permission to turn ONE but it wasn't me.  Nope.  I was perfectly fine with an 11 month old forever.  Ok, not forever but for at least another year!  She is growing and changing and only becoming more fun all the time!   That pic of her above, that's ALL the time.  She wakes up with that look on her face and it's the last thing I see when I put her down.

Lillian is sleeping 7:30ish until around 8ish when the boys leave for school.  She NEVER cries to wake up, I just go in and get her and she's happily playing with her blankets and toys.  Best baby EVER!
She will drink from a sippy or the bottle, I'm not in a big hurry to take it away from her.  She isn't walking yet, she can crawl or bear crawl when she doesn't want her knees to hit the grass.  She can scale the stairs better than any baby I know!  We have to be diligent at keeping the gate closed.  Apparently the upstairs is unknown territory.

She says Lucy.  All.  The.  Time.  All animals of all kinds are "Lucy!"  Even the horses in the Kentucky Derby on TV were "Lucy"!

She was born girly.  Purses, makeup and jewelry are always on her radar.  She knows what to do with the hairbrush.  This girl loves her some shoes.  She says "shhhhhs" when she sees them.  Unfortunately, she loves them so much she refuses to leave them on and takes the off to carry around every chance she gets.

She eats mostly green beans, sweet potatoes, bananas and crackers of all kinds.  But give this girl a slice of Papa Murphy's pizza (our Friday dinner) and she smiles ear to ear!  She also loves eggs, only child of mine who will touch eggs.  She can't handle juice, strawberries or blueberries yet.  She makes the "too tart" face then proceeds to feed them to Lucy!

Turning off and on the light switches is her newest obsession.  Oh, and kissing the baby.  We walk around and kiss all the photos of her on the walls!

She knows her way around the iphone. She and Siri are good friends.   What's funny is she doesn't hold it up to her ear to talk.  No she holds it right in front of her face!  (FaceTime!)  Kids these days!

She is a pure JOY to everyone that knows her.
I wish they could
JUST
STAY
LITTLE!
