Before all of Houston and the big boys got out of school, we had a little girls trip to the zoo. We met Lillian's bestie Chloe there and these girls had such a good time! We arrived and they informed us that if we wait until 12, it's free admission. I've been to free admission day and I can tell you: IT IS NOT WORTH IT! We opted to pay and get a few hours crowd free and get outta there!
The petting zoo was a big hit and the goats were very friendly, a little too friendly at times!

Lillian insisted on bringing babies for both her and for Chloe. I love how she loves babies but WHY must she always choose this nappy headed belle princess?!
The train ride around Herman Park is always a highlight of the day. It also got us outta the park as the crowds were rolling in!
The new gorilla exhibit was pretty cool, they did interact with us a little bit.
These girls had a fun day at the zoo and Lillian stayed up the whole way home eating goldfish and watching TV. This was the first (and maybe last) time she has ever skipped her nap. It was worth it for a day of fun.
